Though Christian presence in this country claims to have a span of almost 2000 years our contribution to national existence is very scanty because of the dearth of serious Christian literature. Our vision is to fulfill the need of the time. Spoken word is forgotten. Written word is discussed again and again and leads to action. It often triggers a revolution or at least an evolution of thought and philosophy. A few conscientization programs for the educated youth, who form the “self help Bible group,” are part of our aim. We have a rich tradition that those who are trained from here are involved actively in the parish ministry either as promoters of Basic Christian Communities or as preachers of the Word of God in different Retreat Centers. They are the nucleus of the lay leadership in the country.
